D誰et
Layton has taught piano for fifteen years, and voice for
10 years. She earned a Bachelors degree in Choral Music
Education from Northern Arizona University in 1995. After
graduation, D誰et taught chorus at the Junior High level
and elementary general music.
After taking a year off teaching in the public schools
when her daughter was born, D誰et taught music, show
choir, and drama at Eagleridge, an enrichment program for
home schooled students offered by the Mesa School
district.
Upon the recent addition of three more children to her
family, D誰et has devoted her time to her children and
teaching privately in her home. She currently has a large
studio of piano and voice students.
In addition to teaching piano and voice lessons, D誰et
is also actively involved in her church. She is the
director for the children痴 music time, and
often plays the organ and accompanies soloists.
In her free time, D誰et enjoys playing with her
children and scrapbooking.
