Songs for the Children's Sacrament Meeting Presentation
2011 Songs
I am working on some visuals for the songs for this year. Here is what I have so far!
If I Listen With My Heart Flip Chart You do remember I like color ink, right?
Crossword Sheet If I Listen With My Heart I thought this would be expecially fun as a review for the older children. Then I remembered I like things big, and the following was born...
If I Listen With My Heart Giant Crossword Puzzle
This is a giant one to hang crossword to hang on the board with magnents. Print this on both sides of the paper, cut out, and use tape to attach the word strips together. Just use the answer sheet on page 2 of the above file to keep things straight!
Hearts for If I Listen With My Heart This was from an idea in the guide for the year in teaching the song. Directions are printed on the file.
I Will Follow God's Plan Countermelody My wonderful friend Sarah wrote this countermelody, and I just LOVE it!
I Will Follow God's Plan Traffic Signs Use these to introduce the song. More ideas on how to use them are printed in the file.
I Will Follow God's Plan Key Words These are made "traffic sign" style to go along with the introduction to the song that I made above.
2011 Songbook
These songbook sheets are some of my most requested items. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I think these are especially helpful for the teachers when we are learning unramiliar songs.
The songbook sheets print 2 to a page, since any smaller is hard to read. Print, and attach with a metal ring at the top. I also plan on laminating my copy.
In the past, I have done up a cover page, and a page with all the themes and scriptures for each month on it. I am unable to do that this year, but if anyone would like to make one up and send me the file, I'd LOVE to post it here! My e-mail is dnetlayton@yahoo.com.
Note: I am my own proofreader/editor. I make lots of mistakes. Some I catch, some I don't. If you find an error, please e-mail me and I'll fix it!

Other songs I've done up:
Families Can Be Together Forever
I Have Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
I Know That My Savior Loves Me
Past CSMP Songs
I Know That My Savior Loves Me
Jenny, a fellow Primary music leader, printed up lyric sheets for this song. She has graciously given me permission to post it on my site. Thanks, Jenny!
Next, we have a flip chart that I made for I Know That My Savior Loves Me. It has key phrases, not all of the words. I am going to laminate each page, and use 2 metal rings at the top to attach them all together. You could also put each page in a page protector in a cheap clip binder.
If you want a flipchart with the full lyrics printed on one side, and the picture on the other, email me and I will do it up.
You do know by now that I like color ink, don't you? My motto: Stimulate the economy. Buy color ink.
Sing Your Way Home

Did you all see the Sing Your Way Home game by Liz Brown on Sugardoodle? It is absolutely incredible! I made up the game using the pictures in the Baptism flipchart. For the instructions and game pieces Liz made, click on the Sing Your Way Home link above.
Sing Your Way Home Baptism pictures

This song uses images from the New Testament Scripture Reader. I think this is one of my favorites so far. Besides using it as a traditional flipchart, you can cut the words from the bottom of the picture, stick magnets to the back, and use as a poster of sorts. You could have the children take a word phrase away each time as you sing it until only pictures remain. You could then do the same thing with the pictures. To "laminate" the pictures, I placed each one in a page protector, trimmed of the strip with the holes, and then trimmed the top down to the picture level. Works great for very little money!

Seek the Lord Early - Flipchart

This poster was pretty easy to assemble. I bought a piece of black poster board, printed the pictures, used a die-cut machine for the letters, and assembled it together. I think it would be good to print off a few keywords to place by each picture while the children are learning it.

I Feel My Savior's Love - This was posted in the Friend several years ago. I enlarged the picture of Christ in the middle, and sent it to be printed at Costco. The page cost only $3, and I like the larger size over my home printer. The rays that can just be printed on your home printer.
I Feel My Savior's Love Center - 12x12
I Feel My Savior's Love - Rays verse 1 and chorus to print on your home printer
I Feel My Savior's Love - Rays v. 2 and 3 to print on your home printer

Quite a few people are singing Beautiful Savior for one of their choices.
This visual aid is from a Friend back in 1999. I enlarged and colored the pictures. All you have to do is print, cut, stick a magnet strip on the back, and you're done. The original had key words either printed on the pictures or on tabs. I preferred to just have the pictures. I also added a picture of some flags for the "Lord of the Nations" phrase after I took the picture above that you can use if you'd like.
If you want to color the pictures yourself, I've provided the black and white outline as well. For the picture of Christ, you can print it with the other graphics, or save the ink and use a picture that you already have. I did round the picture of Christ to fit with the look of the other pictures.
Beautiful Savior - black and white outline for you to color
